History

Da’wah Management Study Program is a relatively young study program at the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication. It was established in 2001 based on Decree No. E/215/2001, dated August 2, 2001, is part of the development of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

After becoming a study program, Da’wah Management interprets scientific integration with the emergence of various special programs such as Human Resource Management (MSDM), Islamic Financial Institutions Management (MLKUI), and Hajj and Umrah Management (MHU). This integration is carried out by interconnecting religious knowledge with management science. It then gave rise to various religious courses and management study groups.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, the Da’wah Management Study Program has adopted the Merdeka Campus Curriculum, with 146 credits completed within eight semesters. The Merdeka Campus curriculum includes national characteristics, UIN characteristics, personality traits, and elective courses. The profiles of graduates include managers of da’wah institutions, managers of religious training, entrepreneurs, HR managers/analysts, managers of Islamic financial institutions, and managers of Hajj and Umrah institutions.
